The popular charity Moor Park 10k & Fun Run is back for its 22nd year and is happening on Sunday, 24 September at Merchant Taylors’ School.
Last year over 900 supporters of all ages and abilities took part including 314 10k runners, 521 fun runners and 68 walkers and an incredible £47,530 was raised for Mount Vernon Cancer Centre Charity.
The Moor Park 10k has been held every year since 2002 and is one of the major fundraising events in the charity’s calendar. Participants and supporters are encouraged to make a donation or create their own online giving page and ask family and friends to sponsor. Money raised will help fund the Complementary Therapy service at the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre (LJMC).
